In a significant step towards promoting clean energy solutions and environmental sustainability, the Institute of Environment, Climate & Development Sustainability (IECDS) recently distributed Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) kits to local women in Tanzania. The event, held at the institute\u2019s premises, aimed to reduce dependence on traditional biomass fuels, which contribute to deforestation and household air pollution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Women and families in many rural communities still rely on charcoal and firewood for cooking, exposing them to harmful smoke and increasing pressure on natural resources.
